Mecca Group Limited, a private manufacturing company, is a recognized name in New Zealand as a manufacturer of metal products and components.

Founded in 1945, by George and Sydney Chaney, with second generation Charl Chaney taking over the reins of Management and expanding the Company over the the past twenty years. Mecca has achieved recognition and respect at home and overseas for high quality product and adopting an innovative approach to challenging trends.

Mecca's manufacturing facilities consist of a non-ferrous and Aluminium Diecasting foundry, a repetitive machine shop including high technology C.N.C. machinery to complete the process.

Specialising in all lathe turning, repetition automatic turning, general specific machining and all types of Non Ferrous castings in Bronze, and Aluminium. Stainless Steel casting available upon request.

Mecca currently manufactures an extremely diverse range of high quality products. Copper tube pipeline flanges, Brewery and Marine equipment, Bathroom Vitreous China Bracketing equipment and associated hardware products are supplied to international companies in New Zealand, Australia and worldwide.

Existing markets are Australia, Pacific Islands, United States, Canada and China. The New Zealand currency is a driving source in regard to Mecca's export competitiveness. A Sales office was established in Sydney in the mid eighties, to cope with the increasing sales market throughout Australia.
